Financial Support for Credential and Master's Programs

For general financial aid information visit the graduate Financial Aid Office or call (562) 903-4742. To apply for financial aid, follow these steps:

Step #1: Fill out the FAFSA
This is the starting point for determining all financial aid. The FAFSA is available in December of each year and should be submitted as early as possible after January 1. Completing the FAFSA does not obligate you to take out a loan. Priority deadline to file is March 1. Biola University and the school code (001122) should be included on the appropriate sections.

Graduate students who are enrolled in just the teaching credential program (not enrolled simultaneously in the MAT) will automatically be given 5th year senior status for financial purposes according to the Federal Department of Education, although they are graduate status at Biola University.

Step #2: Submit your application for admission as soon as possible. Once you’ve been accepted into the program, you will receive an Estimated Award offer from Biola based on the FAFSA.

Step #3: Explore your eligibility in the options listed below.
