Biola University's School of Education offers evangelical Christians a range of biblically centered graduate programs in a learning environment where all faculty, staff and students are professing Christians. Our credential and degree programs train and equip education professionals at every stage of career development, from prospective teachers all the way up to seasoned educators.
New to the teaching field? Our Master of Arts in Teaching program will allow you to earn both a preliminary teaching credential and master's degree. Or you can earn the preliminary teaching credential by itself through our state-certified Teacher Preparation Program.
Do you already have a preliminary credential and teaching job, but haven't yet obtained a clear credential? You are able to earn both the credential and a master's degree simultaneously by pursuing the Master of Arts in Education with a Teaching Emphasis or the Master of Arts in Teaching.
If you're an experienced educator who already holds a clear credential and wants to advance your career, consider a Master of Arts in Education with a Faith-Based Issues Emphasis, a Master of Arts in Education with a Personalized Emphasis or a Master of Arts in Teaching with an elective block.
