The Christian Web Conference is dedicated to helping Christians advance the kingdom through internet technologies. Presented by Biola University and the Torrey Honors Institute, the Christian Web Conference is the premier web media conference for Christians in the web industry. The Christian Web Conference exposes its audience to emerging technologies, hosts speakers who analyze and discuss industry trends, and helps attendees network in order to promote a stronger, more thoughtful and cutting edge Christian presence on the web.
The Christian Web Conference offers Biola and Torrey students a unique opportunity to assume resume enhancing leadership opportunities while immersing themselves in the rapidly growing web technology industry.
Biola and Torrey believe that the web is going places. It is dramatically changing everything from media distribution models to the way in which media are produced to the level of audience participation in media. Bright, ambitious Christian students need to understand these changes, they need to graduate prepared to play a formative role in the industry. The Christian Web Conference is a student’s opportunity to make important connections, be mentored by web entrepreneurs, and observe the growth of the web industry from the front lines.
