Jim Cichoracki


James R. Cichoracki, Ph.D., earned his doctorate in Rhetoric & Technical Communication with distinction from Michigan Technological University. His doctoral dissertation was titled "Mystery, Magic, and Metaphor: The Eucharist and the Epideictic Ideal" which explored the transformation of the sacrament of communion as a rhetorical expression of faith and community. He has taught courses in composition, technical writing, and classical rhetoric at Michigan Technological University and Cal State University, Chico. Dr. Cichoracki has also worked in the marketplace at various companies as a technical writer, creative director, and director of finance. In addition to being an adjunct faculty member at Biola, Dr. Cichoracki is employed full time as director of operations for Inland Hills Church in Chino, California.
