Biola Journalism Conference

The Journalism Conference is held every spring on the Biola campus. Professionals discuss the latest trends in journalism, share their secrets for success in the industry and relate experiences and challenges of being Christians in journalism. Past speakers have included nationally known photojournalists, graphic designers, rock critics and media relations experts from outlets such as the San Francisco Chronicle, Entertainment Weekly, The Chicago Tribune, Time magazine, the Washington Times and Salem Communications. Students have the opportunity to interact one-on-one with these speakers and gain valuable networking contacts for future internships and jobs. They can also earn course credit for either helping plan and produce the event.
