A Word From the director
Welcome to the Conservatory of Music

The Conservatory has a longstanding tradition of academic and performance excellence. The faculty includes graduates from the most prestigious university music programs and conservatories in the country, and critically acclaimed Los Angeles-based musicians active in film, television, and the recording industry.

Biola University, which offers twelve masters degrees and six doctoral degrees, affords a rich, intellectually stimulating environment and the opportunity to examine important current issues guided by some of the top Christian thinkers in the country. Moreover, the University provides a wonderfully diverse cultural milieu. Our student body includes representatives from more than 30 different countries. Biola's ethnic and international student population is among the largest found at Christian colleges across the nation.

In addition to an emphasis on professional studies, all Biola students graduate with a working knowledge of the Scriptures and are challenged to develop a personal Christian worldview. At Biola, your music studies will be integrated with academic learning and spiritual growth as you prepare to impact the world for the Lord Jesus Christ.

Whether you intend to seek a career as a performer, music educator, worship leader, or just wish to cultivate your musical God-given gifts - Biola is the place to be.
