Women's Chorus Conductor
 Julie
Ramsey, in addition to directing the Biola Women's Chorus, also
serves on the staff of California State University, Long Beach
where she conducts the Women’s Chorus and is the assistant
conductor for the Chamber Singers. Julie has also served as music
director and teacher at the Orange County High School of the Arts
in Santa Ana, and as Director of Music at the First Presbyterian
Church of Fullerton where she directed both vocal and handbell
choirs. She has taught music at the elementary, middle school,
and high school levels, and has sung with the Los Angeles Master
Chorale, Pacific Chorale, William Hall Chorale and Cantori Domino.
Ms. Ramsey has been seen in shows such as George M!, The Boyfriend,
The Sound of Music, The King and I and Bye Bye Birdie in
theaters throughout the greater Los Angeles area. She holds degrees
from UCLA, is completing a master's degree in choral conducting
from CSULB, and maintains membership in the American Choral Director's
Association, Chorus America, the National Association of Church
Musicians, and the Presbyterian Association of Musicians.
