WINDS & PERCUSSION emphasis Exciting opportunities can be yours as a wind or percussion player in the Biola University Music Department. Both our classroom and our performance faculty are among the best at their craft. Performance opportunities in both large and small ensembles will challenge and stretch the best players. The atmosphere which acknowledges the Lordship of Christ in the life of a Christian and the stewardship of one's musical talent in the worship of God will encourage the growth of the whole person: spiritual, intellectual and social, as well as musical. Besides the wonderful performance opportunities that we offer for all instrumentalists, we also offer to students who have the heart and talent for majoring in music the following degrees: The Bachelor of Music degree in Performance, the Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education, and the Bachelor of Arts degree.
