SECOND QUINT-ANNUAL ALUMNI POPS CONCERT The Symphonic Wind Ensemble hosted the Second Quint-Annual Alumni POPS Concert on May 7th. Approximately 90 current and former Symphonic Winds members were on stage in Chase Gymnasium performing “Movies! Musicals! And More!” Members from the 1970’s through the present all joined together to perform in the 2 1/2 hour long concert! Clyde Cook, President of Biola; Jack Schwarz, former Chairman of the Music Department; and George Boespflug, current Director of the Conservatory of Music, gave a unique performance of The Typewriter, by Leroy Anderson. |
