Each week at AfterDark, we gather to worship in music and consider teaching on a broad range of topics from God's Word—an evening planned by the AfterDark student ministry team. Come join us at the end of the day, as we engage with God together in a relaxed and intimate setting.

Speakers

Katie Tuttle

Dr. Katie Tuttle, Assistant Dean of Community Life, has served at Biola University for over 36 years in a variety of prior positions - Resident Director, Director of Student Leadership and Development, Director of Commuter Life, and Director of Commuter and Veteran Programs. Dr. Tuttle earned a B.S. in Psychology from John Brown University, an M.A. in College Student Development from APU, and her Ph.D. in Educational Studies from Talbot School of Theology. As a life-long-learner, she went back to Biola as a transfer student graduating in 2023 with a B.S. in Studio Art. Dr. Tuttle directed the development of the Biola Collegium, as well as the Biola Veteran Center and served as a consultant for the design of several other facilities on campus. She is a passionate community developer, with a focus on cultural engagement and a long history of building collaborative partnerships across campus. When not working at Biola, she is enjoying life with her husband John and her adult kids, Annika, Evan, and Will. You may also find her tending her organic garden, constructing handmade books, working at her ceramic wheel, or grilling for family and friends.
