Over 2,000 current Biola students, prospective students and parents came out for Midnight Madness on November 9, 2008. This year's theme was "We are the Champions...of a Biblical Worldview," acknowledging Biola's commitment to Biblical education and excellence in athletics. Serving as a kick-off for Biola's basketball season, the event featured a 3 point competition between the Men's and Women's Teams, the National Anthem by The Kings Men, a special dance performance from the student dance group XOPOC, the Biola Cheerleaders and a chance to win a brand new Biola red Toyota Corolla, sponsored by the Student Alumni Association. This high energy event gave the student community a chance to kick off the basketball season with lots of Biola spirit.
