Hollywood Bowl
Dinner with President Barry H. Corey, followed by the music of John Williams, conducted by John Williams, in the quintessential Southern California summer concert venue: the Hollywood Bowl... it was a night to remember for each of the 250 Biola University alumni and friends who attended “John Williams and the Music of the Movies” on Friday, September 4.
The theme from Star Wars generated the most enthusiastic crowd response, with light sabers being raised across the Bowl-from the row of trees in the back, all the way down to the boxes. And nature provided its own special touch to the perfect evening, with a shooting star flashing across the sky during one of the Harry Potter pieces.
