SPRING ORIENTATION INFO

  1. Tuesday, January 26th

    BIOLA ENGLISH PLACEMENT EXAM (BEPE)

    Bardwell 112 and Bardwell 107
    8:00 AM - 12:00PM

    All students whose native language is not English are required to take the BEPE unless they have scored above a 600 on the TOFEL or above 480 on the verbal portion of the SAT.

    *A photo I.D. is required and must be presented at the beginning of the exam. A cash fee of $25.00 will be collected at the beginning of the exam. The fee is applied toward tuition upon enrollment.

    **Results of the test will only be given on Thursday, January 22nd at 9:00 AM at the mandatory ELSP registration orientation.

  4. ELSP REGISTRATION ORIENTATION

    This session is mandatory for all students who have taken the BEPE because the results of the English Placement Exam will only be given out at this time. Pauline Kim, ELSP Admissions Advisor, and Karen Schwenke, ELSP Academic Coordinator, will be providing crucial registration and orientation information.

    You may have already been assigned a schedule by the Office of Academic Advising and completed registration. If so, you are still welcomed to meet with your faculty advisor for any additional input they may be able to offer. Your faculty advisor in your major will be available to discuss academic planning and your spring class schedule at this time. DonÕt miss this valuable opportunity. Meeting with your advisor prior to registration is highly recommended.

The session will cover everything from the wireless networks to using Blackboard, from the IT Helpdesk to the Biola Computer Store.
