The Cold War Kids, a Southern California band, was interviewed in the Los Angeles Times Calendar about its recent signing with Downtown Records.

The band includes three Biola alumni: Nathan Willett ('05), Jonathan Russell ('05), Matt Maust ('01). Matt Aveiro, who did not attend Biola, is also in the band.

The group's first full-length album, with Downtown Records, titled, "Robbers and Cowards," will be released on October 10.
