Whittier Daily News visited the site of Biola's brand new dormitory, Horton Hall, last weekend as first-time residents moved in. The new dorm has 203 rooms with 409 beds and replaces the old Horton Hall, which was built in 1959 with only 53 rooms and 107 beds.
"We had to race to get it done in time, but we feel good about it all coming together for the students," said Ken Bascom, senior director of facilities, planning and construction at Biola.
