Dr. Aaron Kleist, associate professor of English, was recently aapproved for candidacy on the Fulbright Senior Scholar Roster.

The Roster is a list of all approved candidates who are eligible to be matched with incoming program requests from overseas academic institutions for Fulbright Senior Specialists.

According to the Fulbright Awards Web site, "The Council for International Exchange of Scholars (CIES), under a cooperative agreement with the United States Department of State, administers the Fulbright Scholar Program for faculty and professionals. Each year, the traditional Fulbright Scholar Program sends some 800 U.S. faculty and professionals to 140 countries to lecture, do research or participate in seminars, and some 800 foreign faculty come to the U.S."
