Even before stepping on the Biola campus, students from around the country have been given a warm Biola welcome as representatives from the Alumni department took the University to them during Student Send-offs in a variety of cities.

As is the case each year, these events were filled with excitement as incoming students met, mingled, and compared stories, then heard words of encouragement and advice from current students and alumni. Parents attended as well, giving them the opportunity to interact with other parents from their area-some new to the world of sending students to college, others old hands at the process. And, of course, what event would be complete without plenty of giveaway product to be taken home? Many students left with Biola logo apparel to wear as they start their college career.

Send-offs were held in 13 areas, including Denver/Colorado Springs; Bakersfield, Fresno, Sacramento, the Bay Area (East and West), the Inland Empire, San Diego, Portland, Seattle, Hawaii, Dallas, and Phoenix.
