LA MIRADA, CALIF. — Biola University is hosting a dynamic drive-thru commencement ceremony for its Spring 2020 and Fall 2020 graduates. The drive-thru experience allows graduates and their families to be on Biola’s campus while adhering to L.A. County’s health and safety protocols and providing each student special recognition.

The ceremony is split into three days — Thursday, December 10 through Saturday, December 12 — with three of Biola’s nine Schools graduating students each day.

Graduates and their families will drive through campus in their car to certain “checkpoints” and arrive at their final destination where graduates will be able to briefly exit their cars to receive their diploma from Biola University President Barry H. Corey and take photos at iconic locations on campus. Faculty will cheer their graduates on along the path. Families will be able to take photos of their graduate along the path and witness their graduate walk across the commencement stage to receive their diploma.
