Biola University is one of the best colleges in the nation, according to Wall Street Journal’s recent 2024 Best Colleges in the U.S. report. Utilizing government data and student and alumni surveys, the journal highlights student experience at institutions across the country. Biola is one of the top 50 colleges ranked for student experience on the list.
“The Wall Street Journal’s inclusion of Biola on their Best Colleges list is an affirmation of what we already know to be true — Biola has not compromised our time-tested mission while also being recognized as an exemplary Christian university, characterized by exceptional professors and a vibrant community with a rich intellectual and spiritual heritage,” said Biola President Barry H. Corey. “Our university has an enduring value and commitment to provide a meaningful and influential experience for students across their Biola journey — in the classroom, residence hall, athletic arena and more.”
One of eight Christian colleges in California to make the best colleges list, Biola is also one of the top three Christian colleges ranked for student experience. For this year’s ranking, The Wall Street Journal commissioned one of the largest-ever independent surveys of verified college students and recent alumni in the U.S.
Biola’s inclusion on the list is not an isolated incident — the institution has been named on multiple rankings recently including being named a “Best National University” by U.S. News & World Report and earning a spot on The Princeton Review’s ”Best Regional Colleges” list.
This fall, Biola welcomed its largest incoming class of freshmen since the pandemic. Learn more about Biola’s academic programs.
