Recognized for its top student experience, Biola University has been ranked as one of America’s best universities, according to the Wall Street Journal. Biola is in the top 15% of “Best U.S. Colleges for Student Experiences” in the publication’s 2025 College Pulse Rankings.

The Wall Street Journal spotlights colleges based on more than 50,000 current students’ and recent alumni’s responses to questions regarding campus facilities such as dining experience, housing options and extracurricular activities, and student satisfaction with the social scene and community on campus.

“I've learned that I need to schedule 15 minutes between meetings when I am walking across campus to allow for all the conversations I'll be pulled into as I encounter students and staff who make Biola a great place to be. The Southern California effect means we get to do it all winter long too, which is a huge plus that I hope to never take for granted!” said Muha.

Biola was also included in Wall Street Journal’s list of Best Colleges in the U.S. for their 2025 ranking. The Snyder School of Cinema & Media Arts has recently been featured in several notable publications including TheWrap, The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, and U.S. News as one of America’s top film schools.

With its tree-lined walkways, red brick buildings and inviting atmosphere, Biola is an ideal setting for students pursuing an academically rigorous, biblically centered education. Spread out across 95 acres in residential La Mirada, the campus offers more than 1 million square feet of building space in 40 major buildings — several of which have been built or significantly renovated in the past decade to enhance education, research, community life and the overall student experiences. The most recent building development is happening right now – with the 45,463 square-foot studio facility being built for the Snyder School of Cinema & Media Arts, set to be completed in 2026.
