Biola University has selected a total of 10 graduating undergraduate students for membership into the university’s honors baccalaureate society, Epsilon Kappa Epsilon (EKE) for the fall semester.
The honors society is exclusively offered by invitation only, by which students are selected by department faculty. The selection criteria are based upon academic achievement, with students earning a GPA of at least 3.75, Christian character and individual contributions to the university and community. Only 5% of the graduating undergraduate class are invited into the society.
The ten students selected are nursing, biological sciences and political science majors. The students are Arela Hammond, majoring in nursing, Analia Johnson, majoring in nursing, Liam Kelly, majoring in nursing, Kalee King, majoring in nursing, Jocelyn Soto, majoring in nursing, Kaitlin Stilp, majoring in nursing, Kaitlyn Todd, majoring in nursing, Grace Wiratunga, majoring in biological sciences, Elizabeth Kim, majoring in political science and Anthony Bruskiewicz, majoring in political science.
The students will be recognized for their induction into EKE at the Spring 2025 commencement ceremony as well as at an induction ceremony on Dec. 17.
