Many in theological education are calling for more diversity in publishing and research. However, one of the major problems with employing diverse readings is finding those diverse readings. I helped to start a center whose goal was to address this problem: Every Voice: A Center for Kingdom Diversity in Christian Theological Education. The center of our website is a freely available, searchable database in order to help scholars, students, and pastors find more diverse sources (database.everyvoicekingdomdiversity.org).
Currently the database contains works by Arab, Asian, Black and Latino/a Old Testament scholars, but we are at work to expand it to New Testament and Theology. The database includes not only standard bibliographic data and Scripture and subject tags, but also basic demographic information for the authors. We hope that it can be helpful for many as they research and prepare syllabi!
