On February 24, Dr. Matthew J. Hall was installed as Biola's Provost and Senior Vice President. The leadership of Talbot thought readers of the Good Book Blog would be interested in the installation ceremony. The ceremony includes brief remarks from a number of people, including Biola's President, Dr. Barry Corey, Dr. Jeremy Pierre, the Dean of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Dr. Russell Moore, Editor in Chief of Christianity Today and Dr. Kenneth Ulmer — who until recently was Senior Pastor of Faithful Central Bible Church in Los Angeles. You'll of course hear from Dr. Hall himself, as he casts a vision for Biola to remain faithful to our calling despite the challenges facing Christian higher education.
