About Us
The purpose of the SHAWC Collaborative is to create a cohesive, collaborative, cross-campus movement around our shared work of fostering student well-being. The Collaborative’s work involves increasing cross-departmental education and awareness about programs and services designed to enhance various dimensions of student well-being at Biola, and members participate by developing shared language, sharing information about their programs and services, offering relevant expertise, and fostering partnerships to identify and recommend strategic steps forward to address student well-being at Biola. To this end, the Collaborative serves to positively impact student well-being at Biola through a collaborative, cohesive movement forward.
The SHAWC: Collaborative is chaired by the Dean of Student Wellness and reports to the VP for Student Development.
