University Committee for Women’s Flourishing

The University Committee for Women’s Flourishing provides support for Biola’s female faculty and staff in matters related to Biola’s work environment and employment practices. The University Committee for Women’s Flourishing focuses on assessment, advocacy and action, making specific recommendations to the president, provost and COO on gender climate issues, areas of concern and opportunities for education, accountability and change. One of the committee members also serves on the Committee on Women Faculty to ensure communication and collaboration. The committee is dedicated to one or two gender equity related projects each year with the goal that the committee members will end the academic year with a recommendation or recommendations for the President, Provost and COO on which to act.​
