    Biography

    Craig Jordan is currently director of instrumental music at Hutchinson Middle School in La Mirada, CA, teaching both band and orchestra. He is the music lead for the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School district and sits on the Arts Council.  Mr. Jordan is an adjunct professor at Biola University, teaching music education courses. He is also very active as an adjudicator and clinician for marching band, concert band and orchestra festivals throughout Southern California.  He has presented several clinics for the Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association (SCSBOA) and California Music Educators Association (CMEA) on music education pedagogy, copyright and technology-based instruction. Mr. Jordan is a composer and arranger of music commissioned by ensembles that have been performed across the United States.  Craig Jordan received his Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance and Teaching Credential from California State University Los Angeles and is currently working on his Master’s degree in Education from Grand Canyon University.  He lives in La Habra with his wife and two daughters.
