Electra Allen

Electra Allen is a Certified Pediatric Nurse and an Associate Professor of Nursing in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. She teaches Pediatric Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Essentials of Clinical Nursing Pharmacology, and Introduction to Professional Nursing. Her teaching approach integrates her Christian faith and includes various methods like discussion, group work, simulation, case studies, and reflection. These activities emphasize providing nonjudgmental spiritual care and encourage students to use prayer practices to reflect on their academic progress, clinical experiences, and personal growth throughout the nursing program. She is committed to fostering the personal and professional growth of learners and has shared strategies with educators on how to offer holistic support for nursing students through her publications and presentations.
