Associate Professor of Nursing
Dr. Glenn Styffe’s teaching interests are in the areas of nursing fundamentals, adult medical/surgical nursing, HIV/AIDS, and non-communicable diseases. He teaches courses in the B.S.N. program including both theory content and the clinical setting. His courses include Nursing of the Patient and Family I, and Nursing Application Lab. He uses video, case studies, simulation, and group discussion to augment lectures. He enjoys integrating the Christian faith and nursing through topics such as “the theology of the body”, “the Christian nurse and Imago Deo”, “grief and loss”, and "trauma informed care".
