Biography

Kelsey Miller’s teaching and research interests and experience are in sports performance, strength & conditioning, program design, pre & postnatal fitness, and nutrition. She has experience performing fitness assessments with professional athletes from the St. Louis Cardinals and the Anaheim Ducks, and currently runs Smart Belles Fitness, which provides online workout programs and lifestyle resources for pregnant and postpartum moms. She has over 10 years of experience working in the field as a trainer and enjoys getting to teach students how to evaluate, assess, and implement a variety of techniques to measure human performance variables. Her research has centered around assessing various strength and conditioning measures such as foam rolling, sprint speed, bench press muscle activation, and more.
