Mike Welles

Michael Welles loves serving as the Executive Pastor at Calvary Church of Santa Ana where he has been on staff since 2002. Prior to serving at Calvary, Michael became a CPA at Arthur Andersen where he was an auditor and he also worked in a Fortune 100 company’s finance information system department. Michael has also enjoyed teaching various accounting classes over the past 16 years at Biola as an adjunct accounting professor. He serves the Bible Translation movement as an SIL Board member and chair of their finance committee. He also chairs the audit committee for SIL, Wycliffe USA, the Seed Company, JAARS, Wycliffe Global Alliance, and Wycliffe Foundation. He is the president of the Orange County chapter of the Church Network which helps connect, develop and strengthen church business administrators. He also is a board member of Children’s Ministry Resources International and a Trustee at Calvary Church. Michael resides in Santa Ana with his wife ;Kelly (who was the sister of his Biola roommate) and his daughter. His hobbies include photography and travel to over 50 countries on all seven continents.
