Associate Professor, Feinberg Center
Richard H. Flashman is an associate professor of practical theology and teaches in Brooklyn, N.Y., at the Charles L. Feinberg Center for Messianic Jewish Studies, an extension of Talbot School of Theology in partnership with Chosen People Ministries. Flashman teaches the survey courses in Old Testament and New Testament as well courses in practical theology. He also serves as the chaplain and the director of field education.
In addition, Flashman is the lead congregational planter of one of the only English-speaking Messianic congregations in Brooklyn, N.Y., Beth Sar Shalom, House of the Prince of Peace. Previously, he served for over 27 years as the lead pastor of two Evangelical Free Churches in Connecticut. During that time, he taught and trained pastors, church planters and missionaries at the Bible college level in Russia, India and Thailand.
His education includes a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, an M.Div. and Th.M. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and a D.Min. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
