Biografía

El Dr. Octavio Javier Esqueda es profesor de educación superior cristiana en los programas de doctorado en estudios educativos de la Escuela de Teología Talbot de la Universidad Biola. Nació y creció en Guadalajara, México, donde se graduó con honores con una Licenciatura en Literatura Hispanoamericana de la Universidad de Guadalajara, así como dos diplomas adicionales, uno sobre religión y sociedad y el segundo sobre periodismo. Se graduó con honores en Dallas Theological Seminary con una Maestría en Educación Cristiana y completó su doctorado (Ph.D.) en Educación Superior en University of North Texas. Está a punto de terminar una Maestría en Teología en Talbot. El Dr. Esqueda tiene varias publicaciones sobre educación teológica, educación superior cristiana, literatura y la reforma protestante en España. La enseñanza y la escritura son su pasión y ha tenido la oportunidad de servir como docente o ponente en varios países del continente Americano, así como España, Inglaterra y Mozambique. Actualmente sirve como anciano en su iglesia local en La Habra, CA. También es un gran aficionado al fútbol. Él y su esposa, Angélica, tienen dos hijos, Darío y Salma.
