James White

James White is the Executive Vice President of Organizational Relations at the YMCA of the Triangle in Raleigh, North Carolina. He is also the senior pastor of Christ Our King Community Church, teacher at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he teaches a course on race, and he provides consultation for organizations on issues of diversity and community. James has also been appointed by the governor of North Carolina to the Martin Luther King Jr. Commission on race. James previously served with CRU for 19 years, including eight years at Howard University. James is married to Cynthia (33 years), and they have three children.
