LA MIRADA, CALIF. --- Biola University opens it’s doors Monday, June 8, 2009, to Wednesday, June 10, 2009 for Biola Youth’s sponsored Worship Arts Technology Summit conference. This first of its kind training opportunity is open to all church technicians, musicians and vocalists seeking the finest in-depth worship arts and technology training available in the areas of audio, musicianship, lighting, recording, and media presentation.

Partnering with Yamaha, Shure, Martin, Media Shout, and Yamaha Commercial Audio, WATS instructors are professionally trained and cutting edge in their field. All skill levels are welcome as the training will be presented in structured technology tracks, allowing attendees to begin with the basics and build upon them with a series of increasingly advanced class offerings.

This in-depth, multi day training opportunity offers hands on participation, focused teaching and certification in the areas of audio, lighting and musicianship. The hands-on sessions allow attendees to practice what they learn at the conference, therefore being able to take what they learn home.

Since attendees may stay at Biola during the conference, instructors will be available to guide attendees at all times of the day and evening enabling them to share time, experience and fellowship.
