Biola University is one of the nation’s leaders in awarding theology degrees to undergraduate minority students, according to the latest national rankings released by Diverse: Issues in Higher Education.
In the magazine’s “Top 100 Degree Producers” list for 2011, Biola is ranked No. 1 nationwide in the number of undergraduate degrees in “theology and religious vocations” awarded to Asian American students. The university is also ranked near the top in the theology category for total minority students, Native American students and Hispanic students.

Biola’s complete national rankings in theology are as follows:
· No. 1 in the number of Asian American students who earned undergraduate degrees in theology and religious vocations;
· No. 2 in the number of total minority students who earned undergraduate degrees in theology and religious vocations;
· No. 3 in the number of native American students who earned undergraduate degrees in theology and religious vocations;
· No. 6 in the number of Hispanic students who earned undergraduate degrees in theology and religious vocations.
