About Us

The purpose of this organization is to prepare students for the field of psychology, to unite students with similar interests and build relationships with faculty members. Students will grow in their intellectual understanding of psychology and in application through service to the community. Psi Chi is the International Honors Society in Psychology, founded in 1929 for the purposes of encouraging, stimulating, and maintaining excellence in scholarship, and advancing the science of psychology. 

Membership is open to undergraduate juniors and seniors who meet the minimum qualifications and are making the study of psychology one of their major interests. Applications are to be filled out online. Once submitted email psych.dept@biola.edu to have your application reviewed and approved.

The main goal of this club is to create a supportive environment to discuss the role of Jewish culture in the Old and New Testaments. We celebrate traditional Jewish holidays to help the Biola community gain an appreciation for how understanding Jewish culture can help us better understand and appreciate the context of scripture. We also aim to develop an environment where Jewish believers on campus can come and feel safe to share and appreciate their culture. • Student Missionary Union (SMU) – SMU exists to motivate and mobilize students to align their lives toward the completion of the Great Commission, whether we are quarantined or not. Our desire is still to consistently raise up generations of student leaders who passionately and obediently serve Jesus throughout their lives. • Evangelical/Mormon Interaction (EMI) – Equipping Biola students to engage the LDS community in relationship and honest discussion by providing opportunities locally and throughout Utah.
• National School Project (NSP) – NSP has a vision for a student-led, church-supported campus awakening to the love of Christ at every public school. Their mission is to coach and mentor middle and high school students to reach their campuses for Christ, and technology allows this goodness to continue.
