At Biola, "global students" refers to those who have spent a significant period of their developmental years in a country or culture other than the United States. Some examples are F1 Visa students, missionary kids (MKs), and third culture kids (TCKs). But students aren't the only globals on campus! Many countries and cultures are represented in Biola's faculty and staff. This group includes members who are from nations other than the U.S. and MKs/TCKs who grew up in multiple cultural contexts.
