Associate Professor of Psychology
Dr. Chin is interested in examining access to care for diverse and/or global populations from a trauma-informed lens. This includes building and evaluating empirically driven, multiplex models that combine cross-cultural and culture-specific frameworks for health and wellness of the mind, body, and spirit. This entails using mixed methods (quantitative and qualitative) research methodologies to support instrument development (psychometrics), statistical and program evaluation initiatives. He is also blessed with an amazing wife and two wonderful children whose laughter, curiosity, and endless hugs remind him of what truly matters in life.
