Inspired by the “Journey To Bethlehem” Christmas Presentations, “Good Friday 5:15 p.m.” is not a play to be watched as much as it is an event to be experienced. The walk-through set transports visitors back in time to the city of Jerusalem on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ’s death. Led by a guide, the visitors are permitted to enter Jerusalem in small groups where their journey to Golgotha begins at the Fortress Antonia with four of the guards who scourged and mocked Jesus, after which they continue to encounter those with stories of the last hours of our Savior. The production is a partnership between Biola University and All Saints Anglican Church. It will take place at All Saints Anglican Church in Long Beach on Friday and Saturday evenings during the Lenten season, specifically, March 24, 25, 31, April 1, 7, 8. The tour is open from 7–9 p.m. each night and admission is free. Refreshments will be provided at the end of the tour.
