Why do modern people reject the historical and physical nature of Jesus' resurrection? Most often, the explanations that people offer fall short in their ability to account for three nearly-universally-accepted facts about the events surrounding Jesus' death. In this session, we will consider these three facts and the options open to us to account for them, concluding that the physical resurrection of Jesus remains the single most compelling explanation for them. We will conclude by considering the role of the resurrection in the faith of modern Christians.
