Family and friends of current Biola students are invited to attend Family Weekend 2022.
We've planned fun events for families and students to spend intentional time together. Enjoy curated activities on Biola's campus and explore the surrounding Los Angeles area! Events are optional as this weekend is designed for you to create memories with your student.
You’ll find a schedule and a list of optional events below. Some events require registration, so if you’re interested in participating please be sure to sign up to reserve you and your family’s spot.

3–4:30 p.m. | Future Biolans Admissions Sneak Peek Cost: $5 per sibling Biola siblings and family members 12+ years and older, join our admissions team at the Fireplace Pavillion for an event just for you! Enjoy food, music, photo booth, giveaways, contests, admissions info and more. Optional campus tour starting at 2:00-3:15p.m. Registration closed | Fireplace Pavilion, across from the Cafeteria #31 |
3–4 p.m. | Meet and Greet Biola Residence Life Cost: Free Get to know the Residence Directors, Graduate Assistants and other Biola teams that make our campus and commuter life a blast | Andrews Banquet Room, located in lower Talbot East #45 |
5–7 p.m. | Dinner On The Lawn Cost: $12 per person, children 5 and under are free Biola students do not need a ticket for this dinner and can use their ID card/meal plan Enjoy a picnic-style dinner on the lawn with other Biola families Families are encouraged to bring blankets for a picnic-style dinner; we will also have a limited supply of blankets available at the Family Engagement Booth –– look for the red pop-up on Metzger Lawn. | Sycamore Lawn, next to Calvary Chapel #46 |
7–8:30 p.m. | Punk N' Pie Talent Show Cost: Free Watch Biola students show off their skills at our annual talent show and enjoy free pumpkin pie after the show Bring your own blankets or chairs to enjoy the show; we will also have a limited supply of blankets available at the Family Engagement Booth –– look for the red pop-up on Metzger Lawn. | Metzger Lawn |

Donuts With The Deans

Self-Defense 101 Workshop (REGISTRATION FULL *for questions contact parents@biola.edu*) Cost: Free, Women Only Learn the basics of self-defense from our beloved Campus Safety officers. Workout attire is recommended. Cookie Decorating Workshop Cost: $15 per person "The Sweets Shop" from Fullerton, CA will be leading an on campus cookie decorating workshop where participants can learn how to apply designer icing to Biola-themed cookies This event conflicts with other workshops from 9-10 a.m., so each individual should only sign up for one event in this time slot. | Andrews Banquet Roomlocated in lower Talbot East #45 | |

2–3:30 p.m. | Kickball Bash Cost: $5 per person Enjoy some friendly competition with other Biola families over a classic game of kickball led by special guest team captains | McNally Field, #59 |
7:30–9:30 p.m. | Prism Concert Cost: $13 per family member, $8 for Biola students Created in 1992, the annual PRISM Concert offers ensembles large and small, as well as student soloists –– uniting in a program that demonstrates musical excellence and great spirit | Crowell Hall, #17 |
