The 8th Annual Charles W. Colson Conviction |
Please join us in honoring this year’s recipient of the Biola University Charles W. Colson Conviction and Courage Award, Luis Palau.
This annual award is given to an individual who exemplifies a commitment to the unshakeable truths of a biblical worldview and a willingness to act on biblical convictions, however risky or challenging. Previous recipients of the Colson Award include: Charles W. Colson (posthumously), Baroness Caroline Cox, Paul Marshall, Joni Eareckson Tada, Mama Maggie Gobran and Brother Andrew van der Bijl.
Palau formed the Luis Palau Association that has shared the Good News of Jesus Christ with more than one billion people throughout the world for more than 60 years. Through their efforts and God’s great provision, hundreds of thousands of individuals have come to faith in Jesus Christ. The Palau Association is headed by Luis and Pat’s sons, Kevin (president) and Andrew (evangelist). After a three-year battle with stage IV lung cancer, evangelist Luis Palau died on March 11, 2021, at his home in Portland, Oregon. He was 86 years old.
Biola University will present this award to Kevin Palau during Biola’s Student Missionary Union’s Missions Conference opening session. We invite you to attend the presentation of the award and a breakout session with Kevin Palau.
