1 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. -- Information Booth and Parent T-shirt Sales

5:00 p.m.- 7 p.m. -- Academic Dinners
Various Locations
New students and families are invited to enjoy dinner at their respective school's welcome reception (or at the reception for students who are currently Undeclared). Watch for specific locations and times from your school.

7:30 p.m. -- University Welcome
Metzger Lawn
Don't miss this official welcome to the Biola community and hear special messages from President Corey and other faculty and staff.

  • Option 1: A Family’s Guide to Supporting Student Success and Well-being (In-person session for those who missed the webinars)
    Calvary Chapel
    Join this interactive discussion on how to support your students relationally, emotionally, academically and spiritually as they begin their Biola journey.
  • Option 2: Parent Council Panel
    Mayers Auditorium
    The Parent Council is composed of dynamic parent volunteers who represent a cross-section of our student population. They are a wealth of information for everything from travel logistics to handling the complexities of raising young adults.

11:45a.m.-12:30p.m.

  • Option 1: Campus Safety and Health Services (In-person session for those who missed the webinars)
    Calvary Chapel
    Attendees of this session will gain a better understanding of how their students will be kept safe and resourced in their physical well-being by our Campus Safety and Health Center staff. Speakers include Associate Vice President and Chief of Campus Safety, Chief John Ojeisekhoba and Director of the Health Center, Dr. Sarah Templeton.
  • Option 2: Volunteering 101, How to get involved on campus and in your region
    Mayers Auditorium
    Want to be a part of what’s happening on campus or in your region? Join us for an information session on the various areas of need and opportunity and how you can help!

1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. -- Academic Connect
Various Locations
Open House with your student's Academic Department. A chance to interact with Biola Faculty, gather information and get your questions answered. Students and families are invited to attend.

1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. -- Come and Go Events
Visit our Resource Fair, go on a guided tour, finish any task you are needing to complete or relax with an iced beverage!

5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. -- Biola BBQ
Walkway across from the Cafeteria towards Crowell Conservatory
Your student’s New Student Orientation Registration covers the cost for your family to attend the Biola BBQ. Service will be offered in two time options to avoid lines. Grab a delicious buffet BBQ meal and find a place to sit in the many offered spaces.

If your last name starts with the letter A - L, line up for food at 5:00pm.

    If your last name starts with M - Z, line up for food at 5:30pm.

    7:00 p.m. -- Communion
    Metzger Lawn

    A special service that new students and families will cherish for years to come. For families that attend, it is the perfect time to say goodbye to your student following this prayer-filled, inspirational service. Tissues are provided!
