When Paul describes a healthy, loving community, he encourages us to "suffer together with each other" and "rejoice together with each other." But how do we rejoice with others when we're struggling or, worse, when they've gotten something we really wanted? How do we suffer with others when our lives are going just fine? Loving others in these ways may be easier said than done, but in them we also find practical pathways to growing in love of God and others.
