Celebrating that which is true, beautiful and good, Seraphour is dedicated to the preservation and proliferation of the sacred canon - highlighting unaccompanied classical sacred gems that celebrate the beauty of the female voice. Presenting pieces from the Renaissance to present day and commissioning new works, their music celebrates the tradition of beauty that spans centuries and inspires souls. Serahour has been hailed as “Meltingly beautiful… a new vocal ensemble worth watching” (Fanfare) and “Beautifully enunciated…coolly contemplative… as impassioned as could be imagined…” (LA Opus). They were named a winner in the 2022 Beverly Hills National Competition and are 2024 Global Music Award winners. Their debut album, “Angele Dei,” was released in October 2021 and has been featured on classical radio stations as well as syndicated NPR and PBS programs. In addition to terrestrial radio, their music can be heard and downloaded on all streaming platforms including, but not limited to Amazon Music, iTunes, Spotify and Pandora. Seraphour is proud to champion the works of living composers and encourage the next generation of music makers - collaborating with established award winning classical composers and commissioning new works. Scheduled for release in 2024, their most recent album “anno Domini” is a collection of pieces that highlight the sacred calendar year. It features several new commissions and works by living composers mingled with some of the most iconic sacred pieces in the repertoire. In addition to recording and commissioning, the ladies of Seraphour produce an ongoing audio/visual series, Seraphour in Sacred Spaces, that pairs sublime pieces with inspiring spaces. They also perform regularly on chamber music and sacred music festivals and concert series. Seraphour are Heidi Vass, Melissa Birch, Emma Grace Roche and Dana Rouse.
