Join us in celebrating with the AMERICAN PUBLIC HEALTH ASSOCIATION (APHA) how public health makes a difference in our communities!

For science. For action. For health.

Get involved and learn about the world of public health! We will have activities and discussions to learn about public health and be part of something meaningful, creating healthier communities!

Throughout the week take advantage of the opportunity to participate in various events designed to increase awareness about the role of public health in our communities. Whether you're passionate about health, curious about the field, or looking to make a difference, this is your chance to engage!

Public Health Week Events:

April 7th  - Global Health Partnerships from 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. in BUSINESS 203

Our global health partners, Meeting TENTS, will visit campus to share about the work they do aboard in the Philippines, Uganda, and Mexico. They will be joined by one of their collaborators from Mexico. We would like to invite you to join us to hear about our global health projects and how Biola undergraduates and MPH students can get involved in field experience trips.

April 8th - Public Health Scavenger Hunt 

Gear up for a Public Health Scavenger Hunt to learn about Public Health!

Come join us for a fun and interactive scavenger hunt where you can learn all about public health! It’s a great way to explore public health topics and connect with others while having a blast.

April 9th - Public Health Break from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. in Andrews Banquet Room

Come unwind and connect with others in the public health community. Enjoy a variety of fun activities, including public health-themed word searches, coloring pages, and conversations with students and faculty.

Recharge and relax while fostering community and collaboration. Whether you need a mental break or want to chat with peers about public health, this event is for everyone!

April 10th - Public Health Scavenger Hunt

Gear up for a Public Health Scavenger Hunt to test your research and investigative skills!

Dive into public health as you track down items for the hunt. Use clues and research to uncover facts about wellness, disease prevention, and more. It's a fun, interactive way to enhance your public health knowledge and problem-solving skills!

April 11th - Public Health Project Presentations from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. in the LIM 043

Join us for presentations where Public Health students will showcase their research and projects on public health topics. This event provides an opportunity to learn about current health issues, community initiatives, and innovative solutions from students.

Whether you are interested in pursuing a career in public health or just curious about the field, this is a great chance to engage with student-led research and discover how to address real-world challenges. Don't miss this opportunity to support your peers and gain valuable insights into the impact of public health on society!
