SOE prepared me with knowledge and positive attitude toward my work. I have been able to apply my knowledge to my work and to work with my coworkers and family daycare providers in positive manners. Also, I have been able to better understand and embrace difference cultures since I took classes focusing on dealing with families from different backgrounds.
How did your program at Biola prepare you for your career?

What did you appreciate most about your time at Biola?
I appreciate my relationship with professors and my classmates. They were not only helping me to move forward in my career but also supporting me with their prayers.
How did Biola equip you to be a more faithful follower of Jesus Christ?
As we had to integrate Christian perspectives into our assignments, it has become a habit of thinking and acting with Christian perspective. When I work or deal with my clients, I am able to see them as a person who God has sent to me.
What advice would you give to students considering your degree program?
I would like to say that find volunteer or internship opportunities during vacations instead of taking courses. Education fields requires many years of experiences and they are going to make huge differences in your future.
