Biola Student Managed Investment Fund
The Biola FPA manages over a quarter million dollars of real investment money. The students pitch stock ideas, design risk-efficient asset allocations, and ensure that the investment money is impacting culture in a way that is consistent with a Biblical worldview.
The Biola student investment committee for the student investment fund competes annually against five other local colleges (CSUF, CSULB, CPP, UCR, UCI) in order to manage real money on behalf of the CFA Society of Orange County. The last two years Biola students have won a prestigious scholarship from the CFA Society of Orange County.
God and Money
The heart of this club is to incorporate good stewardship of the money that God entrusts to the students and staff at the school. As a result, we aim to put God first in all of our meetings and will hold meetings discussing what the Bible has to say about money and how that should impact the way that it should be used by Christians. Members of the club will also have the opportunity to join Bible studies with other students over the topic of God and money on a monthly basis.
