President Corey Reflects on the Legacy of Dr. Clyde Cook
April 11, 2013 marks five years since the passing of Dr. Clyde Cook, Biola University's seventh president, who led the institution for 25 years, from 1982-2007. He was the longest serving president in Biola's history, overseeing a period of tremendous growth following Biola's transition from a college to a comprehensive university.
"Clyde Cook embodied Biola, its heritage, its values, its high calling as a Christian university. He was long loved by this community and truly impacted the world for the Lord Jesus Christ through his influence on countless lives. Five years after God called him home, he is still greatly missed. As Anna Belle's Biola family, we express to her our fond memories of her dear husband. She continues to carry on the Cook legacy as a vital part of our community."
