Kimberly joins the Biola community all the way from East St. Louis, Illinois after working at the University of Texas at Dallas for six years as a Director of Undergraduate Success Scholars. Her goal is to rally a campus community around student success for all students while making sure to serve populations that may be marginalized; that may be underrepresented on Biola's campus to provide holistic services and support.

Carla is a daughter of immigrants and FirstGen graduate from Biola with a bachelor's degree in Intercultural Studies, and USC with a master's in Social Entrepreneurship! Through her educational journey, she learned the challenges and joys that come with navigating college as a first-generation student. Now, she is committed to equipping you and all students with the necessary tools and support to thrive at Biola and beyond!
